#1 Opening Parenthesis

Our first Parens Party to connect, share ideas and shape the community.

We are kicking things off with Opening Parenthesis, the very first Parens Party. Think of it as the start of a journey - an open parenthesis that will lead to many more lines of code, ideas and conversations.

This first meetup is about keeping things simple. The main goal is to get to know each other and share why we’re excited about parens in the first place. We’ll talk about what kind of community we want to build together and how we can make it welcoming and fun for everyone.

Where Do We Go Next?
  1. Should we grow our skills through mob programming sessions?
  2. Do we want regular idea-sharing jams or casual REPL hangouts?
  3. What can we do virtually to keep the Parens Party alive between meetups?
  4. How do we develop paren-thinking, not just syntax, but the mindset behind Lisp?

This is not about heavy agendas or strict rules. It’s an introductory gathering where everyone can chime in with thoughts, ideas and even doubts. By the end, we’ll hopefully have a clearer sense of direction and a spark for the next session.

Map yourself to the meetup - #1 Opening Parenthesis, 7 Sep, 21:00 IST.

So let’s open this parenthesis together and see where it takes us.
